Great writing as always! Don't worry about convincing people of what you did there. In a good interview you can describe the way you did things and sell yourself and your skillset. I'm sure you'll be good at that. I was worried about the same thing after my first software sales job (that I fell into by accident) ....but then I kept getting better and better jobs. Your first job back in Canada my not be your ideal...but moving around from job to job every couple of years is not a turnoff to future employers....if each one is better and pays more...and if you can use prior jobs as references (not the one you're in when you move)

You're good at what you do and experienced interviewers will be able to tell that. I'd be glad to talk to you about this when you get home.
